Berlin, has had a lot of hype as the new "Silicon Valley of Europe", with even Google and Etsy recently opening up offices here. Startups have had maddening success in Berlin and all of this buzz brings along hot hotels, restaurants, and cool fashion with it. This has all  thrown it onto our Reporter Radar. Following is our REPORTER ROUNDUP of venues and celebration destinations in Berlin, Germany.

BERLIN-VENUES

 

The city has virtually reinvented itself since the fall of the Berlin Wall with stretches of bike lanes, walls covered in artistic graffiti, a huge hotel boom, and interestingly artsy pop-up museums. This creative milieu of new hotspots and the many culinary escapades you can go on is drawing a slew of tourists to Berlin, Germany and making it an ideal group getaway, travel and celebration destination. Berlin is even drawing a new breed of traveler including families, which means your guests and friends can bring the kiddos. Following is our BOOMING BERLIN REPORTER ROUNDUP where we peek into some of our favorite venues and their wildly different settings!

 

1. VENUE: 25hours hotel bikini berlin

THE REPORT: This hotel JUST OPENED and is popular due to it's boho buzzin design, cool restaurants, the bar on the top floor with a 360° rooftop terrace and it's first-class views of the city and the Tiergarten park. There is meeting and event space for up to 100 here and fun places to play including the bikini island with a dj-corner! After your shindig you can use one of their free bike rentals to go museum hop around the city.

 

2. VENUE:Katz Orange

THE REPORT: The old school cocktail bar keeping, with a wide range of liquors and spirits from many different countries mixed with gourmet cuisine, but the kind of gourmet dishes that their mothers and grandmothers loved to cook. You can throw both large and small events here. For a larger event you may rent entire restaurant, Katz Orange also offers various possibilities for smaller private events. 3. VENUE: Das Stue

REPORT: "For people who wish to stay in an elegant, sophisticated classy hotel, Berlin now has a venue that perfectly satisfies these requirements" - DHD Magazine. You can host events in the central Bel Etage next to the historic stairwell and the library, the library itself, the restaurant, the bar, or the private dining salon. There are a ton of options at this super chic hotel that are ideal for cocktail receptions, private dinners, corporate events and more. If you want a setting reminiscent of Cary Grant, real gentleman and ladies, and cultivated conversations, you will find it here where they celebrate socializing.

4. VENUE: Huettenpalast.A cafe, hotel and garden.

REPORT: Located in the hip neighborhood of Kreuzberg, you can getaway or celebrate any type of event at Hüttenpalast. There are six refurbished campers and cabins that are set in an indoor campground aesthetic with picnic tables, lanterns and even trees!Evening celebrations from 10 to 40 people can be hosted in the cafe and events from 10 to 100 people can be held in the entirety of the property. Workshops, weddings, birthdays, corporate events and more.. They will plan your event and arrange it to your desire. Prices start at 400 euro rent.

5. VENUE: Pauly Saul

THE REPORT:"Pauly Saal was imagined as a classic bistro that might have existed in Berlin in the Golden ‘20s: leather booths, pine green fabric-covered chairs, walls covered in handmade ceramic tiles, and enormous Murano chandeliers." - Food & Wine Magazine. You will be offered a full culinary experience as well as customized functions for your event here. In addition to the Pauly Saal restaurant, bar and garden, you can also host a soiree in their private dining room in the same building of the Former Jewish Girls School. This separate room with a small lounge area is ideal for private events, seated dinners for 10 to 35 people, business meetings and small conventions.

6. THE VENUE: Soho House Berlin.

THE REPORT: Whether you are seeking an elegant space for your ceremony or a cozy dining room to host a reception, this is an ideal venue for a celebration in a modern metropolis. Replete with richly decorated interiors in a central location overlooking Alexanderplatz you can host a fabulous celebration in the heart of Berlin.
