Built by a boat captain, home to an admiral, and shot as the main-house in an Oscar-nominated documentary, this fascinating and historical establishment is unlike anything you have ever seen. Turn heads as you make your way through the big barn doors into the main space for a beautiful wedding ceremony then take the party outside where you can dance and celebrate amongst lily ponds, pine groves, mountains, and fire-pits.

Nestled on 50 private acres, our place is comprised of the 1850s redesigned carriage barn, a majestic pine grove, extensive gardens, a lily pond, fields and woods, and a spectacular bonfire ready for s’mores under the stars. With a hands-on and full-service approach, we’re ready to celebrate.

Additional Charges

Our 2024 venue fee for a full day (8-hour) wedding is $21,000. The rate includes a full wedding day, plus time to the wedding date to drop off items, decorate, or have a ceremony rehearsal, use of our tables and chairs (two sets of chairs for dinner and your ceremony), use of our speaker system, beautiful restrooms in the barn, a large pavilion on top of our field for a roofed ceremony or for cocktails, use of our pine grove for a magical outdoor ceremony, use of a separate, large lawn for parking, outdoor furniture (Adirondack chairs, wooden benches and chairs), and use of two spaces in our house behind the barn to get ready. Part of the charm of our place are all the different little environments (dramatic pine grove, open field with mountain vista, secluded lawn with frog pond…), and we encourage couples to plan on including all of it in their wedding day.

The things that are not included are catering and bar. Our full event catering menu starts at $125 per person and includes three passed hors d’oeuvres and a market table with local cheeses, charcuterie, crudités, etc. for cocktail hour, and a plated salad, two main dishes, and two side dishes for dinner. Our bar packages range from $50 per person to 60 per adult, for a 4-hour window starting at cocktail hour, and can be extended to a 5-hour maximum. The maximum size of any party at our place is 140 persons.
