When you drive into camp you will see a display of canvas tents backdropped by the beautiful La Sal Mountains! If you look into the distance you can see hints of Arches National Park. Turn around the views are still good with large red rocks to give you the full Moab scenic experience.
Design:
Our property is meant to integrate with the natural landscape, so you can fully enjoy the outdoors but sleep in comfort! We’ve partnered with Leave No Trace, an organization that teaches people how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly, to minimize our impact on the lands that our tents touch, from setup to breakdown every year. Our hand crafted bed frames, mattresses, luxerious sheets, cowhide rugs, wood stove, and other special touches make you feel cozy and comfortable in your tents.
Standout venue features:
I guarantee that the majority of your wedding guests will have never been to a glamping wedding before! Invite your friends and family to spend time outside together with an incredible view. Our Moab site looks at an unobstructed view of the La Sal Mountains with beautiful desert landscape in-between. Glamping Is Group Travel Gold—Especially When There’s a Plunge Pool, Wine Tastings, and a Fire Pit Situation
Forget sleeping bags. These plush glamping retreats come with watercolor views, plunge pools & alpine wine tastings.  Some people like roughing it, and some people like a wilderness adventure that comes with king-sized beds and champagne service. Wrestling tent poles into the mud and trying to get cozy atop rocks are now officially optional, as the camping scene gets a glamorous makeover. From Utah’s red rock canyons to South Africa’s Sand River, today’s glampsites are basically boutique hotels in disguise—with just enough nature to feel noble, not feral. And the best part? Glamping is group travel gold. Everyone gets their own dreamy digs, but you still gather ‘round the fire for s’mores, stories, and maybe a surprise engagement or two. It’s bachelorette-ready, wedding-weekend-worthy, and ideal for that annual friend trip where no one wants to share a bunk bed again. The wild is calling—softly, from a bed with cloud-like pillows and a view. Find yourself and your crew toasting in Alpine wine caves by noon, and glamping at wedding venues with thread counts higher than the surrounding mountain peaks.

Harvest Party Inspiration from A Free People Glamping Gathering
If this gathering were a song, it would be "Bohemian Rhapsody" by the British rock band Queen, where the writer Freddie Mercury "played the beginning on the piano, then stopped and said, 'And this is where the opera section comes in!' Then went out to eat dinner." The intro of this sweet song would be the magical backdrop of Mother Nature herself in palettes of washed coppers, terracottas and jagged terrain. The ballad segment would be the gathering of girls swapping stories, laughing, having fun and bonding over the experience. Then comes in the operatic passage, the sharing of a family style feast under the starry sky which leads to the hard rockpart. The girls dancing and connecting over fashion, food and fun which soon drifts into the reflective coda, the soul cleansing sunset and flickering of the candles as everyone retreats to their tents with full bellies for a deep peaceful slumber.

They are photographers, cinematographers, musicians and designers; professionals in the creative arts and event industry. Last year they embarked on a road trip adventure. They hopped in a camper and drove their way through the countryside, weaving in and out of the bucolic patchwork of rolling fields and serene desert landscapes. One of their stops was at brand new venue report member, Moab Under Canvas. This was the first week that Moab Under Canvas was opening their canvas safari tent and teepee doors for starry night adventures.
