How To
Beach Gathering
Stoneleigh, Australia
REPORTER: The Venue Report

The turn of the seasons is almost upon us and best celebrated together, perhaps with an Endless Summer party for those not ready to say goodbye or a Welcome Party for those celebrating fall’s rebirth. Whichever your choice, a transitional gathering is key for the season. The setting? Take it to the water’s edge with an open fire and create your feast.

Australian WILD Chef and traveler, Sarah Glover, is inspiring these thoughts with her very own waterfront feast that you can find amongst her other culinary adventures in her soon-to-be released cookbook. She gave us an exclusive, inside look into her intimate beachside banquet along with two heavenly recipe sneak peeks. The first is her Chargrilled Cheeses with Endive and Wild Honeycomb Platter - not only capable of inducing instant mouth-watering, it looks positively divine once done up. The second is The Hung Pork with Lemon Leaves and Blistered Grapes cooked while hanging over an open flame complete with a healthy splash pinot noir. Who's hungry?

REPORTER: Jake Kilroy

To many, the ideal vacation is one of both exploration and relaxation. Most of us aren’t round-the-clock thrill-seekers or constant nappers. Instead, we like to go big and then take it easy. We want to see the big, beautiful world, but we also want to stop to smell the roses—and you need energy to do all the things you want. So, naturally, there’s a good chance you’ll feel better and be way more psyched on adventure if you start and end your day with delicious food and healthy yoga sessions. Get your blood pumping, loose up your muscles, fill your stomach with healthy treats, and prepare to take on the world around you!

This week’s #BirthdayBucketList comes courtesy of The Travel Yogi, who had a downright incredible time while staying at a Bhutanese wellness and yoga retreat. Since Bhutan limits its total availability of annual tourists visas, the country is able more easily maintain as well as sustain their colorful, wondrous culture. Luckily, The Travel Yogi went and, in turn, laid out a terrific 10-day adventure of fun and rest, based on the team’s journey as well as venue deets (yes, Amankora always has us drooling) and some insider's information providing everything you need to know before booking the ultimate yoga retreat.

Mystic Hot Springs
REPORTER: Jake Kilroy

Utah is secretly the best place on earth, says photographer Renata Stone. It’s not hard to see why if you’ve ever visited the Beehive State. It's a dramatic landscape that's as alien as it is western, and it’s either drenched in sunlight or starlight. In short, IT’S AMAZING.

So when Stone's friends came to visit, she had a good number of stunning spots to take them. Her ultimate choice was Mystic Hot Springs in “middle of nowhere Monroe.” Thanks to her beautiful photography skills, you can see her and her merry band soaking in outdoor tubs on what looks like another planet. It’s a good life when you have friends in the right places—and Utah’s definitely one of them.
