Scout
by Scout

Black candlesticks, gold etched glasses and rich jewel tone foliage created the warm and intimate ambiance of Rebecca Gallop's (you may know her as A Daily SomethingFoxfire Mountain House fall gathering. To celebrate the changing of seasons, Rebecca gathered her guests during her fall retreat, An Intentional Autumn, for a formal dinner equipped with vintage rugs and persimmons. With a mission to pursue all facets of life with intention (think gatherings, our relationships, ourselves, our homes), it's clear that Rebecca’s forte is in the details.

How does she achieve the affectionate balance of a moody, candlelit meal? Rebecca discloses all of her hospitality and design tips including why you should never iron your napkins. You may have seen wrinkled napkins splashed across the feeds of your favorite food stylists and adorning the tabletops of beautiful dinner parties everywhere - it just very well may be one of 2017's best table trends. Lucky for all of us, Rebecca is sharing the scoop on how to attain the perfectly imperfect unfussy napkin look for your upcoming holiday gatherings this season.

Campfire Restaurant

2725 State Street, Carlsbad, CA, United States

Enter Tassels and Tastemakers, a wedding industry event thrown for vendors by Be Inspired PR. This year's New York event took place at 404 NYC, a blank canvas that was transformed into a mini-wedding market party. The event was for mingling, networking and industry bonding but the modern design and flowing chardonnay was the icing on the proverbial cake (and we are still swooning over all the little details – hello, spiked ice cream!).

Be Inspired PR recounts the event, from their different booths to the Bridal Market Showcase. With Tassels and Tastemakers, everyone in the bridal industry gets to be the center of attention.

The goal of each supper is to seamlessly blend design, food and atmosphere so that every event has its own personality.

This particular event took place at Hama Hama Oyster Farm just outside of Seattle. In selecting this specific location, Eva and Danielle were inspired to design a menu filled with local seafood, create table arrangements made of driftwood and seashells and incorporate blue water tones into the decor.
