King Plow Event Gallery, West Marietta Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA, United States
The Kingplow Event Gallery has been VRV (Venue Report Verified), meaning we have personally visited this venue. This turn-of-the-century renovated warehouse was originally built in 1890 and underwent a renovation in 1995, which places this puppy on the Historic Landmark Registry. Located just minutes from downtown and midtown Atlanta in the city’s emerging Westside neighborhood, the venue is in a very urban, artsy setting surrounded by a ton of great restaurants. We really loved that the location indeed feels like an urban retreat and is in Atlanta's "Westside".
This renovated warehouse venue used to be a plow company. It boasts natural light, 30 ft ceilings, incredible warehouse windows, exposed brick, and vintage industrial door. Honoring its history, one of the venue spaces boasts contemporary paintings & historic "artifacts" from the building's industrial past. We loved the art-gallery vibe. It is ideally situated for corporate events, weddings, festive celebrations and elegant social events.

From the event planning perspective, we really appreciated the flexibility of this venue with it's adjoining sections. You can have free reign to design your event utilizing the various layouts of the venue. If you host a weddings here, you can have an indoor ceremony then transition to the outdoor space or Studio 887 (their adjoining venue space) for your cocktail reception, and finally host the dinner reception in the art gallery. You can also do this the opposite way!
The two adjoining spaces – 4,600 and 4,100 square feet, respectively – which separated or combined can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 400 for a seated event, 700 for reception-style and up to 1,500 for reception-style when combined with Studio 887 and the lobby and common areas of the compound (can go up depending on how much combined space is used, and use of space).
REPORTER TIP: Our personal favorite would be to utilize the art gallery with its natural light and 30 ft ceilings for the ceremony, then transition to the outdoor terrace or to Studio 887 for another unique exposed brick, loft-like space during the cocktail reception. Finally, transition guests back in to reveal the long feasting tables and candlelight for dinner and dancing. While guests are dining, the art gallery can be transformed for an after party!

Fifth Group Restaurants has some of the most notable restaurants in Atlanta, including South City Kitchen, Lure, and Ecco. As a bonus incentive, you will receive $500 off your catering if you book one of their restaurants for your rehearsal dinner, or post wedding brunch.
