London’s Calling, with A Geo-dome Rooftop Bar Overlooking the Thames

Epic birthday ideas around here aren’t your average blowout house party. Instead, we comb through venues across the globe to bring you spots that are insanely gorgeous and worthy of planning a whole vacation around, because turning 30, 40, 50, 60, or even 87 is a BIG deal. In this edition of bucket list worthy birthday bash spots, we’re in full freakout mode over the rooftop lounge see-through globes at London’s Coppa Club Tower Hill.

Terrace With A Thames View

With views of the River Thames and Tower Bridge, the south-facing terrace features a collection of clear-span tent domes. A few of the domes are set up as cozy little lounges, with soul and funk music setting the tone. Other domes are all about the dining experience, with round tables that seat a crew of up to 8 guests. Ringing in the eve of your 38th birthday with eight of your closest pals gazing at the stars from a cozy London rooftop? Yeah, that sounds pretty bucket list worthy to us.

Not Your Average Pizza Party

The Coppa Club menu features lots of small plates, pizzas and pastas – perfect party food for sharing. If you’re going family style with your gaggle of birthday bash peeps, the crab bruschetta, king prawns, cured meats, grain salad, fried truffle gnocchi, and lots of pizza can do no wrong. As for your bucket list worthy dessert, do it up Brit style with the sticky toffee pudding with crushed honeycomb, vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce. Excuse us while we go wipe the (drool) jealousy off our faces.

Shake Ya Brass, Watch Ya Self

Inside this Coppa Club is equally b-day bash worthy, what with the giant brass-topped bar in the middle of a marble herringbone floored room. You can get real sauced on Sloe Gin Slings or keep it mellow with a Wild Strawberry Spritz. Either way, you’ll want to dive headfirst into the cocktail list. You only turn *insert age here* once, so you might as well make it count!
