As the leaves begin to transform into shades of amber and crimson and the air begins to cool, we can’t help but feel nostalgic for sweet summertime. We recently caught up with Leah Marie Photography about capturing all 242 acres of Galway Downs, an equestrian rich land in Temecula, completely transporting us back to those much needed sensations of summer.

This private estate, surrounded by lush rolling hills and major-league level wineries, comes together to create the perfect balance between traditional and contemporary. We’re not done just yet. Boasting high-beam ceilings, a lily pond, vintage succulent filled troughs, modern craftsmanship and seamless indoor-outdoor arrangements, this place truly holds up to be a jewel under the sun.

If you’ve been a follower of TVR in the past, you’ve probably come to notice what suckers we are for a great inspirational wedding photo shoot. Never is that more true than when we see a photo session with two impeccably dressed people set up in a space that’s bright, airy, and has a character all its own. And this is exactly that kind of shoot.

A sky-high living wall, loads of natural light, and a gorgeous combination of wood, brick, and modern white textures make Colony House a real stunner. One of Anaheim’s best kept secrets, this venue is the kind of place that makes you want to become a professional event space flipper. Is that a thing? Maybe we should make that a thing! That would certainly make for a fun reality show. Seriously though, the indoor and outdoor spaces both shine here, with options to party in a loft, a courtyard, a modern craftsman style room, or at the adorable bar.

Known for its incredible art and music scene, unforgettable southern hospitality, and obsession with its football team, Atlanta is easily one of the most entertaining cities south of the Mason Dixon Line. Making it even cooler, quite a few of the industrial digs around town have been revamped into giant, open, light-filled warehouse studios and event venues.

Designed by a photographer with a serious love for perfectly lit spaces, Ambient Plus is just that kind of warehouse venue. Walls of giant windows line the white brick walls framing the room, while rustic wood floors anchor the soaring ceilings. And though any wedding would certainly transform this space into something interesting, this bride crushes it in her coral tulle gown and bold blue hair.

Celestial Moon Masquerade Dinner Party
Under The Moonlight
REPORTER: Cortnie Fausner

The universe is a wondrous place full of the unknown, and as we enter 2016, we celebrate entering into 365 days masked in mystery. We don't know what the year ahead holds for us, and that is the beauty of the New Years Eve celebration. We dream of the unimaginable and the unthinkable as we celebrate under the moon at midnight with confetti, champagne and wild dance parties. NYE celebrations are for the dreamers and believers.

Now, imagine hosting a 'Masquerade on the Moon Dinner Party!'. You create a celestial, sparkling, star-lit flooded scene with gemstones, geodes, ivory quartz and small touches of glistening gold. You will serve up star caviar appetizers and magical chocolate moon pies for dessert over a dinner table flooded with dripping, ivory taper candles. Maybe you even invite a fortune teller or an astrologist to give your guests a fun peek into the new year!

The dress code? Glittering sequined dresses, faux fur jackets, funky white sneakers, heels and moon boots perhaps? The quirkier and sparklier the better. You shimmer and shake under the shiny mirrored squares of a disco ball before dinner. You all sit down for a feast at your fantasy-filled dinner table, put on your silly masks and the moon masquerade begins.

Gathering at its Finest
Worldwide
REPORTER: Alyssa Brown

There’s an old New Orleans saying that we have four seasons:  Saints Season (football), Carnival Season (Mardi Gras), Festival Season (Jazz Fest), and Summer (LOTS of summer).  It’s no mystery why three of the four are based around gathering and community – New Orleanians live for a good party.  And in fact, even in the summer, we throw hurricane parties (in the midst of real hurricanes) and spend the end of every humid day sitting on someone’s front porch with a drink in hand, talking to the neighbors, listening to music, watching the evening crawl by.
