This Couple Just Hosted Everyone’s Dream Tuscan Villa Wedding
Alyssa Brown
by Alyssa Brown

Tuscan villa weddings never cease to inspire. There’s something so magical about that fragrant Italian air, the rich history, and the gorgeous architecture. And Italians seem to host weddings with such an air of simplicity, like it’s no big deal to host a dinner party for fifty or sixty people outdoors, under the clear Tuscan sky. Sara and Patrick’s wedding at Villa Catureglio has us all in total fantasy land over here, what with the Chestnut hunt in the mountains, vineyard tours, and the gorgeous meals they celebrated with.

Sara and Patrick recently filled us in on all the details of their wedding planning from afar. They worked with the creative and brilliant duo, Elyse and Katie, at BW Theory in Austin to make all their great ideas into a reality.

VIneyard Dinner Party
Best Spot to Have a Dinner Party in a Vineyard? The Back of a Vintage Pick-Up, Of Course
Jake Kilroy
by Jake Kilroy

There are few dinner parties you know you’ll remember for the rest of your life. For those treated to a particularly special night lit by twinkle lights, in the back of a vintage pick-up truck, set in the midst of a vineyard, this would be one of them. Thank goodness it was photographed. Out among the vineyards of the Central Coast of California, dressed to the nines in denim, friends came together to have a conversation. They arrived on motorcycles and an acoustic guitar was never far out of reach. The afternoon social rolled into the evening, losing time but never losing speed. Over a spread even the Lost Generation would've written home about, they laughed, toasted, and celebrated all they had to offer each other at their dinner party.

Beneath bistro lights, amid candles, they drank red wine and waxed poetic, and honestly made all of us at the Venue Report quite envious. We had to know more about such a lovely release party for Crawford Denim’s Vinter’s Shirt inspired in collaboration with Robert Mondavi Private Selection Wines. So we brought up the stunning, spectacular event, art directed & designed by Rachael Ann Lunghi of Lace & Likes, with Susie Shaugnessy, owner and designer of Crawford Denim & Vintage Co, and couldn’t stop asking questions.

Cabanas Cuatro Cuatros

Federal Hwy 1, Chapultepec, Ensenada, Mexico

There are moments that capture your heart, give it pause, and allow you to admit to yourself that not everyone is lucky enough to be where you are and have your life. Overlooking the sea while sipping a cocktail, surrounded by vineyards, mountains, and olive orchards, with your luxury tent behind you is almost assuredly one of those instances. That’s one of the (very many) reasons people adore a glamping stay at Cabañas Cuatro Cuatros.

Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn

Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn, Snyder Road, Berrien Springs, MI, United States

In the middle of a gorgeous meadow, just 90 minutes outside Chicago, sits this beautifully rustic 19th century barn. Inside, sunlight peeks through the mile-high slatted rooftop and onto the massive old wood beam supports below. It’s the kind of setting where celebrating comes easily, where wine seems abundant, and where dancing should be a requirement.

This countryside venue is as romantic as it is rustic, with the option of getting married under a magnificent old tree or opting for the backdrop of vineyards or grassy meadows. A cool cocktail hour could take place out on the lawns, or you can set out some cute lounge vignettes and cozy up to the big ole barn’s giant front porch. Dinner and dancing in the barn easily fits about 150 guests, and we highly recommend choosing your guests based on their ability to dance in cowboy boots.

The Barn at Green Valley, A New Napa Valley Wedding & Event Venue!
Katie David Bush
by Katie David Bush

What's cooler than a cucumber mask? A new barn venue in Napa Valley! When we heard through the Napa grapevine that there was a beautiful, brand-new barn on the block, we knew we wanted/needed/must have an insider's look at all the loveliness. Who else would be spilling this Napa news other than the dream team behind  Event Space Consulting/Alison Events. They got their designer hands all over this pretty new venue set amongst a bucolic patchwork of rolling vineyards and crafted a shoot to show off the new space, that is nothing short of sheer perfection (say that five times fast). At the helm of the shoot is Jesse Tombs of Event Space Consulting/Alison Events and boy did he ever bring it with an all-star team of vendors & a beautiful vision for this barn. It's not often a brand-new barn pops up in Napa so when it does and this team of vendors are involved, you best believe we are going to give you a front-row seat!
