Over fifty years after the film was made, you can finally have breakfast at Tiffany’s. The Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York has opened a luxury home and accessories collection on its fourth floor and launched Blue Box Café in conjunction. Just in time for the New Year, this spot is all over every New York shopper’s radar and it’s quickly making its way onto every Holly Golightly fan’s brunch bucket list.

Robin’s Egg Blue Reigns Supreme

Tiffany & Co. has long been known for its iconic Robin’s Egg Blue signature color, and this chic café is dressed from wall to plate in the singular hue. Located on the fourth floor of the Tiffany & Co. headquarters, you’ll wander through the new home and accessories collection, where you’ll likely spot something as extravagant as a $10,000 sterling silver nest with porcelain robin’s eggs designed by Reed Krakoff, before stepping foot in the café.

A Very Holly Golightly New York Experience

Though Holly Golightly typically took her morning coffee and croissant while gazing at the jewels in the Tiffany & Co. display windows, guests of the Blue Box Café can sit down for a full-service breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. On the menu, you’ll find NY classics like smoked salmon and bagels, a salad with lobster, grapefruit and avocado, and a club sandwich named for the company’s founder.

The formal Tiffany Tea menu will have you snacking on finger sandwiches and sweet treats while sipping on Bellocq tea blends. If ever there were a high tea location worthy of being on your #bucketlistbrunch, this NYC jewel is the one. Even Martha Stewart would agree.

A Four-Story Treasure Trove

As Holly Golightly famously said, “the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there.” With the experiential addition of Blue Box Café, we’re sure shoppers will agree that this landmark jewelry shop is as calming as it is aspirational. And what’s more bucket list worthy than living like Audrey Hepburn for a day, anyway?
