There's an unmistakable sense of "cool" at The Line Hotel, a mid-century building located in L.A.'s Koreatown.
A collaborative effort headed by the Sydell Group, the décor is industrial hip, with raw cement walls, floor-to-ceiling views of the Hollywood Hills and a diverse collection of multimedia works by contributing artists adorning the rooms. Their bars and restaurants stay true to the backgrounds of the bartenders and chefs: POT serves up Koreatown and Korean food —their “Boot Knocker” is a memorable mix of instant ramen, pork, and canned meats.
