We know that rustic doesn’t have to mean roughing it. That it’s better to kick up your heels than to dig them in.

Based in Leesburg, 48 Fields Farm is a peaceful century-old farm set in the heart of Northern Virginia wine country. The estate hosts three historic barns and two houses amid 48 acres of rolling fields and lush woods. Paired with our high standards of service and hospitality, the farm’s original character and modern amenities make a perfect location to welcome you and your guests.

Our converted white dairy barn is our signature space, spanning more than 5,500 square feet over dual levels. With a combination of bright natural light and rich woodwork, it provides a variety of options to comfortably host 125 guests. A separate ceremony lawn and cocktail area provide additional location options.

Our renovated, authentic, two-story 1910 farmhouse provides a modern and comfortable space to welcome brides or grooms as they get ready for their wedding day. The space is open and neutrally decorated to go with any color palette. Aside from our plush seating and full-length mirrors, we also love the wrap around porch and rocking chairs!

The Scene:
Set on 48 acres in the heart of Northern Virginia wine country, 48 Fields is a serene and peaceful location to host your wedding! The property features three barns and two houses that are more than a century old, dating back to 1910. Lush forest surrounds the perimeter of the land, while the middle remains open with tall grasses and rolling hills. With a little trek, you'll also find two streams on site. Ample parking is also available for all your guests and vendors.
Design:
Modern amenities meet historic character at 48 Fields. Our flagship space is a dual-level white dairy barn that has been renovated with events in mind. The lower level is light and bright. White walls and ceilings are complimented by white-washed grey barn wood tile floors. Doors on either end were custom made from historic barn wood harvested on site. Indoor cocktail hours are hosted here most often, but it is also the backup space for indoor ceremonies.

In contrast, the upper level is best known for its warm wood and soaring cathedral ceilings, accompanied by several modern chandeliers. Set at either round or long tables, wedding receptions of up to 125 guests can enjoy a space that is unencumbered by limitations of barn posts or beams found in other barn venues.

Perhaps one of the most appreciated features is that couples and guests alike can enjoy comfort year round with our heating and air conditioning systems.

Give your guests an experience by taking advantage of the multiple site locations throughout the 48 Fields property. Exchange vows in our ceremony lawn. Enjoy drinks and lawn games alongside our cocktail barn. Dance the night away under the twinkling cafe lights in our upper dairy barn.  Escape for sunset photos in our vast, rolling fields. We are relaxed but polished. Welcoming, yet refined. Take your visions of a casually elegant barn wedding and come kick up your heels at 48 Fields!

If you like the practical details, know that while the staff at other venues may leave once your reception begins and rely on the caterer to carry out the rest of your event, you can be assured that 48 Fields staff is on site for the duration of your wedding. In addition, we offer 12 hours of time to ensure you can get ready on site in our Wedding Cottage without having to worry about adding extra time for it.
Extra Perks:
Tables and chairs for your ceremony and reception are included as part of all rental options. Our inventory of lawn games, decor pieces, and uplighting are also available for couples to use during their wedding at no extra charge.

Ceremony Patio:
The wedding ceremony patio is flat, open, and able to seat up to 125 guests. It is surrounded by tall trees and lined with crepe myrtle trees that flower late into the summer months.

The barn’s lower level is light and bright with white-washed gray barnwood tile floors and beadboard plank ceilings. It comfortably holds up to 125 for ceremonies or cocktail hours.
