A rustic-luxe 10 bedroom townhouse hotel with a buzzy fusion restaurant by 64 Degrees, cool cocktail bar, private dining room and lounge. Tucked away on a peaceful side street in the Pimlico conservation area, Artist Residence is a handy 5 minute walk from Victoria Station, close to Oxford Street, Soho and Chelsea. Warm and friendly staff make guests feel right at home. Regency meets rustic in the bedrooms, with exposed brick walls, battered leather armchairs, Farrow & Ball colours, vintage-industrial furniture, limited edition prints and other-worldy beds. Comforts come in the form of 400 thread count linens, fully stocked mini bars and powerful rainfall showers (The Loft and Suites also have bath tubs). Downstairs on the ground floor is the popular neighbourhood restaurant 64 Degrees. The open plan kitchen is at the heart of the restaurant where you can watch the chefs in action preparing creative fusion dishes. Step further into the basement and you will find a secret cocktail bar that harks back to an era of hidden drinking dens, where resident mixologist Max will match you to your ideal tipple whilst regaling with tales of his latest infusion experiments.

Sit at the pass in front of the open-plan kitchen where you can watch the chefs prepare flavourful fusion dishes for oodles of theatrical dining. All rooms have powerful rainfall showers. A buzzy rustic-luxe city enclave on a quiet side-street. Dating back to 1852, the building is located in the Pimlico conservation area renowned for its stucco-fronted terraced houses designed by Master planner Thomas Cubitt (responsible for most of Belgravia). The hotel is popular with the discerning creative traveller, business-people and media, fashion & designers. Whilst a local neighbourhood favourite, the 64 Degrees restaurant and bar has also become a destination dining and drinking experience in its own right.
Behind the impressive Regency facade and candy-stripe awnings expect to find lots of fun industrial-luxe touches. Exposed brick sits alongside battered leather armchairs whilst Farrow and Ball paint hosts backdrop to colourful contemporary artworks. Enter through the discrete 'hotel' side entrance and you will feel like you are staying in an intimate private house, with a plethora of unique and quirky furniture & lighting pieces. Enter through the restaurant and you will find an industrial-style interior with copper lights and wood-clad walls. Relax in the lounge with its big comfy velvet armchairs, pallet style coffee tables and wood-clad bar. At 5pm head over to the cocktail bar, complete with tin tiles on the ceiling, exposed brick walls, old library shelves filled with liqueurs & spirits, Pure Evil prints, luxe red leather bar stools and a corrugated bar front and concrete top. For a more intimate dining experience the private dining room is the perfect back-drop with its tongue in cheek prints, moody green walls and copper schoolhouse lights. The venue is also available for photo-shoots and filming.
