Venue Setting

The EpiCenter offers an environmentally friendly and uniquely innovative space for all types of events including but not limited to weddings, corporate funsitons, meetings etc. Events held at the Artists For Humanity EpiCenter contribute to sustain our arts-micro enterprise and introduce the voice, vision, and virtuosity of our youth participants to the Boston community. Gourmet Caterers is our exclusive caterer for all events on site and provide experienced food and beverage service to weddings, meetings and various functions that take place on site.

Additional Charges: The rental fee ranges between $4,000-$6,500 and includes 13 hours of rental time including set up and clean up time. The Art Gallery is available to rent in addition to the main event space. An AFH membership at the $1000 level is required to rent the space. Your membership is 100% tax deductible, connects you with our mission and helps to fund the employment of our youth participants. There is no additional charge to hold the ceremony on-site. A refundable security deposit of $1,200 is required.

The Scene:: Since 1991, Artists For Humanity has empowered and employed Boston teens in an intensive program of arts, creativity and enterprise. AFH partners youth participants with professional artists/designers to design, create and sell art products. With fully equipped, staffed studios in Painting/Murals, Sculpture/Industrial Design, Screen-Printing, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Photography, Web Design and Video, participants and mentors collaborate on creative projects, many specifically commissioned by clients. In the process, young artists develop entrepreneurial skills, and introduce audiences to their voice, vision and virtuosity. Artists For Humanity apprentices have produced fine art and creative products for Boston's largest firms and organizations. In 2004, Artists For Humanity established its headquarters, the Artists For Humanity EpiCenter, in the Fort Point Arts District of Boston. Our building informs our youth about issues of environmental stewardship, and serves as an inspiration and backdrop for their creativity. Today, the Artists For Humanity model is being disseminated internationally to organizations that utilize our framework of responsibility, respect, and positive relationships to empower young people in their communities.
Design:: A 48 foot moveable wall can open to expand the event space into our 3,200 square foot Art Gallery. The Art Gallery is available to rent in addition to the main event space.
