- The Scene:
- As you arrive at the venue you will see a tall structure with many A-Frame peaks, intricate wrought iron gates, stonework throughout the exterior and a tower made of glass windows. Once you walk up onto our patio, you will see our secluded backyard with landscaped grounds. The inside of the Castle shows much more of our rustic charm. The original barn built in the late 1800s is still part of the infrastructure. Reclaimed barn wood was used to complete the additions made in the late '60s and again in the early '90s.
- Design:
- When Bill Miller built the venue, he used many recycled materials from all over New England. Most of the recycled barn wood was from the tobacco barns in Hartford, CT. The glass tower is made up of lead-paned windows from Yale University. Wrought iron banisters that line our balcony seating area are from the Providence Opera House. The Castle also has many antiques throughout the space. Hand carved credenzas and tables act as decor and functional pieces as well as antique couches and chairs for your guests to lounge.
- Standout Venue Features:
- The venue is exclusive to you and your guests for your wedding. Your own private Castle for the day!
- Extra Perks:
- All high tops for cocktail hour, patio furniture complete with bistro lights, reception chairs and tables are included in our price per person. Also included are linens, cake cutting, champagne toast, our small bridal suite and an event coordinator that works with you from the moment you inquire until your last dance!
