Near an avocado plantation, a magical terraced garden is hidden in an ancient place - the Burge. The fascinating combination of the past and the present creates the special and magical color of the event.

• Burge Binyamina is an important part of the history of settlement in the Land of Israel since the beginning of the century and is integrated into the history of the pioneers of Binyamina and Zichron Yaakov.
• Khan Burj was built in the 18th and 19th centuries under Turkish rule and is found on earlier remains of a settlement from the first and second centuries CE.
• In 1898, as part of his journey from Haifa to Jaffa, the Kaiser Wilhelm II and his entourage took part in the night. Three days later, the Kaiser met with Dr. Herzl in Jerusalem.
• At the beginning of the 20th century, the Baron Rotchild acquired the land of the Burge from the heirs of the Christian Salim Khoury, whose wealthy family was in Lebanon at the time. This acquisition was the first step in the purchase of Jewish land in the Nahal Zarqa valley - Nahal Taninim, which at the time was called the Arab name - Wadi Timsah.
• The land of the Burge was divided into twenty-seven of the Zichron Yaakov peasants who were missing the lands of Falah. These farmers lived in the Great Khan of Burge as, whose remains still exist, while they are cultivating the land. The agricultural work in Burge continued all week, and at the end of the week, the farmers returned to the moshava about 8 kilometers away.
• At the time of the harvest and the dish, they stayed there until the beginning of the harvest, when they returned to the vineyards in the settlement. From the age of 13, the boys joined their fathers, slept and worked in Burg, and later developed a special atmosphere of young, courageous peasant life.
