Venue Features
The Scene:
Former military fortress located in the most secluded area of the bay of Palma de Mallorca. Stunningly blended into the landscape, this magnificent fortress has been totally refurbished without altering its unique architecture and its natural environment.
The fortress was so ingeniously built into the cliffs that, despite its huge walls and ramparts, the building can’t been seen from the mainland or the sea. Only the canopies of the rooftop lounges on the terrace are visible on the horizon. Once over the drawbridge, guests are checked in at reception (the old gatehouse) and the feeling truly is of casting off the cares of the world.
Standout Venue Features:
Located above the Fortress Hall, the panoramic terrace is an excellent area for the organization of a cocktail during the warm summer evenings and with stunning panoramic views of the bay of Palma.
Eats & Drinks
Food, Restaurants, Cafes, Bars & Lounges
Food, Restaurants, Cafes:
The luxury of the essentials of Mediterranean gastronomy created by our chef Victor Garcia. The magic of the night in Cap Rocat enchants the gastronomic restaurant La Fortaleza; inside the main building of the fortress in winter or in the main courtyard in the summer with the subtle sound of the fountains. During the summer, an aperitif is served before dinner viewing the sunset from our panoramic terrace. Gastronomic Critics Award for the Best Hotel Cuisine in the Balearic Islands 2012 Sea Club: Located on the waterfront, in the spectacular “Cala de la Reina”, the Sea Club is an open-air restaurant which offers dishes cooked in a traditional Mallorcan firewood oven and grill. The Sea Club Restaurant is open for lunch daily and for dinner between May 15th and October 15th.

Cap Rocat

Hotel Cap Rocat, Balearic Islands, Spain

When we think of a former military fortress, romance isn't necessarily the first thing that comes to mind. We imagine architect-owner Antonio Obrador must have stood where the lounge is now, eyes closed, basking in a sea breeze overlooking stunning views of the bay of Palma and was overcome with the potential in this rather daunting Spanish military fortress. Thusly, he refurbished it into a dreamy destination we’d love to get lost in. Cap Rocat is a stunning waterfront hotel and wedding venue in Mallorca, Spain.
