Venue Setting

Of all the hotels on the Cote d'Azur, Château Eza is the most stunning, with a Michelin-starred restaurant, tucked away in Eze in one of the most enchanting locations on the Côte d' Azur. The 12 intimate rooms and suites of this 400 year old Chateau, also a former residence to a Swedish Prince, offer epic vistas over the Cote d'Azur, often from private balconies and terraces, as does Chateau Eza's Michelin-starred restaurant, itself overlooking the sun-kissed horizons of the French Riviera.

Venue Features
The Scene:
You would never imagine what luxury lies hidden behind the stone walls of eze, tiny pedestrian village 400m above the Mediterranean. Four-hundred-year-old Chateau Eza was once Prince William of sweden's private winter residence, and now it's a Michelin-starred restaurant and retreat, filled with princely extravagance. The old wine cellar became a diding area with panoramic vistas, the libray a cosseting guest room, the Prince's bedroom a sprawling Suite.  Today, Chateau Eza is a luxury 5* hotel recognized as one of the most romantic places in the world. It is also the site of a Michelin-starred restaurant where the chef's culinary delights are only rivaled by the panoramic views of the French Riviera coastline.
Design:
In 1994 Terry M. Giles visited the hotel and falls under Château Eza’s spell and aptly purchases the hotel—a transformation begins with the result being the luxury hotel Chateau Eza is today. The Chateau has been decorated with the intention of breathing the life of modern times back into the castle while maintaining the essence of a very comfortable medieval home. Each of the 12 rooms is unique, but all have been integrated into the historic architecture. Some rooms have stone walls, others original woode panels, stained-glass windows and authentic stone fireplace. Fresh flowers, gilded mirrors, regal oil paintings and velvet drapes come as a standard.
Standout Venue Features:
The Château Eza is conveniently situated between Nice and the Pricipality of Monaco in a very peaceful Medieval village, which is just 30 minutes drive from the Nice airport. Our guests can enjoy our special private lounge and terrace with dramatic views on the French Riviera. The guests of our Suites can light the fire in a fireplace and enjoy exterior Jacuzzi with hot water.
