Private gatherings at City Vineyard are designed to accommodate an array of events, including corporate cocktail receptions from 20 to 500 guests, parties on the roof, seated dinners, or just fun in the sun. A grape arbor shades our beautiful wine garden, while our roof deck features a spectacular view of the Hudson Estuary. Leather seating, oak tables, and a handcrafted ceiling of wine barrel staves complete the simultaneously rustic and elegant wine country decor that has become our signature. Both indoor & outdoor spaces are climate-controlled and can be arranged for full buyouts. Seasonal menus can be customized to accommodate groups large and small. Our staff of wine professionals is available to guide you through our selection of fresh wines on tap, curated wines from around the world, and beers & handcrafted spirits. Our chef has prepared a selection of seasonal crostinis, passed hors d’oeuvres and dinner items to choose from. We look forward to hosting you!

The Real Housewives occasionally films at City Vineyard, and one time we decked out the entire roof deck for the premiere of "Narcos: Mexico," complete with an artificial maze and DEA office replica for photo ops.

Venue Features

The scene:: Enter through our glass-enclosed Main Dining Room, which surrounds guests with expansive views of the Hudson River, Freedom Tower, and incredible metro area skylines. With a full state of the art in-house A/V, the main dining room is an ideal location for formal dinners, daytime corporate events, weddings, and holiday parties.

Continue through our Main Dining Room past our full-service bar with locally-crafted wines on tap. Just outside, the Hudson River Wine Garden and South Patio offer sprawling outdoor space with its own private, fully-functioning bar and unmatched views of the Hudson River and its skyline. With two sixty-five-inch TVs, and flexibility to be set up for cocktails, lounge style, or with formal seating, this space offers a perfect venue for your event on its own or in combination with our main dining room. During the winter it is fully enclosed and climate-controlled, and throughout the year an awning protects from inclement weather.

During the warmer months, ascend to unparalleled views and a quintessential NYC experience from our Rooftop Bar and Overlook. From here, gaze over extraordinary sights in every direction, with renowned food and beverage, private bars, mesmerizing Hudson River sunsets and stunning city night lights. A complete indulgence of the senses, your time on our roof will be one that’s remembered forever.

In the Fall & Winter seasons, City Vineyard is transformed into a warm riverfront lodge, featuring a fully enclosed and climate-controlled patio dining room & lounge. The floor to ceiling windows of our main dining room offers scenic views of lower Manhattan, the Hudson River, and Jersey City skyline from any table.
Standout venue features:: As a fully-functioning winery, City Vineyard offers wine tasting, sangria blending activities, and a range of award-winning, locally-crafted wines from our eco-friendly tap system. On our Rooftop Overlook, we host yoga classes and movie nights in the warmer months. All year round, guests can enjoy raw bar service in our climate-controlled wine garden, and live music from the stage in our Main Dining Room.

City Vineyard offers a menu that spotlights fresh seafood and New American fare to perfectly complement the riverfront dining experience. Our Executive Chef, Mike Landas, and his culinary team have created a menu that pairs well with both our wines and wines from around the world. Our dishes feature fresh, seasonal ingredients that are carefully prepared and tailored to each event. We offer a variety of menus, including light cocktail fare, traditional seated dinners, family-style service or buffet dinner service. In addition to our in-house menus, we have partnered with local vendors, such as Murray’s Cheese, who provide our selection of artisanal cheese and charcuterie.

City Vineyard offers you a unique beverage opportunity: serving wines to your guests that are made on-site at our flagship City Winery location, just blocks away in lower Manhattan! Your guests can enjoy a range of wines straight from the tap; from our Spring Street Pinot Noir to SoHo-vignon Blanc. Our winemaker David Lecomte produces stellar wines that will perfectly complement your meal. In addition to our in-house wines, our Beverage Director, Justin Seitzler has worked with some of the best wine producers to customize our extensive, award-winning wine list. Our beverage package also features a full open bar of top-shelf liquors and local craft beers.
