The scene:: Located in the Marin Country Mart, Farmshop Marin is a culinary beacon on the bay sitting a stone’s throw from the Larkspur Landing ferry dock offering up a full-flavored experience with style, finesse and comfort. Utilizing all our locale has to offer partake of Northern California in every glass, on every plate, in every bite.
Design:: The aesthetic impact Farmshop has upon the heart and eye is in no small part due to Creative Director, Kira Cunningham; and her background speaks to those experiences that have made this possible. Growing up in picturesque Napa Valley, Kira would go on to study Fine Art and English at UC Berkeley and work in publishing (New York) and art directing for film & television (San Francisco & Los Angeles) before landing once more in her homeland. These experiences coupled with her creative mind gave birth to the design concept for Farmshop, complementing owner Jeff Cerciello's overall inspiration. Kira chose Commune Design of LA to collaborate with on realizing the final design of Farmshop in both Brentwood and Marin. In 2013, Commune earned a James Beard Award nomination for Best US Restaurant Design for Farmshop LA.
