Venue Features
The Scene:
We live with this unspoilt wilderness right on our doorstep during eight totally different seasons. The air is pure and whenever you want, you can quench your thirst with water from the clear mountain lake. When Fjällnäs’s first visitors arrived more than 130 years ago, they were attracted by the pure, unspoilt, beauty – and this is still the same today.

In some places the panoramic views stretch for at least 200 kilometres in every direction. And with more than 60 mountain peaks, more than 300 kilometres of prepared Nordic ski trails, and countless marked hiking tracks, you will never have to cover the same ground twice.
Design:
At Fjällnäs, each building has its own story, its own life. The experience of staying at Fjällnäs varies with the changes in Nature. A stay in the summer differs dramatically from a stay in the autumn. When our first visitors, seekers after fresh air, from Europe’s major cities, made their way to Fjällnäs more than 130 years ago, they came to enjoy the clear air and the untouched beauty. The same is true of today’s visitors, who enjoy the same unspoiled Nature, in a resort whose facilities and accommodations are characterised by architecture in tune with the surroundings, solid craftsmanship, and natural materials reflecting the values of Nature.
Standout Venue Features:
Aula Capella is non-denominational, but is a spiritual place where everyone is welcome in the right spirit. Spirituality and veneration encounter a pioneering and exciting element in the chapel. Experience experimental and contemporary world-class architecture, unexpected juxtapositions of materials and challenging shapes.

Above the tree line, high up besides the mountain lake Bolagen is Fjällnäs’s very own log cabin. The cabin was a gift from the Sami people more than 80 years ago and is the perfect framing for special occasions. For up to 8 people.
