Venue Setting

Designed in-house by artists and owners Kris and Kevin, this hand-milled, rough-sawn and reclaimed-beam structure is the focal point of our venue and a vision come true for the Headwaters Ranch team. You’ll fall in love with the open space, the decor, and the craftsmanship. The Round Barn features a cathedral ceiling, a beautiful mezzanine overlooking the dance floor,  dance floor, comfortable sitting area, and beautiful rustic and elegant accents. It’s a unique structure made from rough-hewn lumber that lends a special feel — a one-of-a-kind wedding venue you won’t see anywhere else. The Round Barn offers seating for 350 inside and 500 with use of the covered veranda and patio. The Barn features two bars - one inside and one outside on the patio. Two beautiful fire pits on the patio are the icing on the cake for any summer event. With warm-toned, reclaimed lumber throughout, it creates a gorgeous ambience for an evening of dancing and merriment that carries through on camera. The veranda and mezzanine also serve as excellent group photo staging areas with a true Montana backdrop.

Full Liquor, Beer and Wine Catering - couples must us our license to cater and cannot bring in outside alcohol. Bar services vary greatly but a single bar set up is $150. We offer a cash bar, hosted bar, partially hosted bar and signature cocktail development. Well, House and Premium liquor available. Local beer and a wine list with bottle prices ranging from $10 to $50 per bottle available for catering.

Kevin, one of our owners, hand made all of the furniture (tables, chairs, benches and arches) available for rent for events in his shop on the Ranch property. 

Kris and Kevin purchased the Ranch with the intention of starting a Hops Yard (hops for beer) but then quickly fell in love with the property and wanted to share and spread that love - what better way to do that then with celebrations! Hence the event space!

Venue Features
The Scene:
Headwaters Ranch is located on the Missouri River. The Round Barn is surrounded by the horseshoe hills and beautiful views of snow-capped mountains. With over 500 acres of our private land for you to explore there is truly something for everyone. All 14 structures on site designed in-house and handcrafted with love using wood milled at the old mill on our ranch. Decorations were hand collected and handpicked from local artists, antique stores or made in our shop. We truly have put a personal and loving touch, on everyone, you see at the Ranch.
