The Scene:
Creating the perfect combination of contemporary and classic, Juliet Ristorante brings innovative Italian cuisine to Austin. Executive Chef Jacob Weaver’s standout menu is a balance of rustic and refined, featuring traditional favorites and unique specials made with locally sourced ingredients. Executive Pastry Chef Carly Rossmeissl’s exceptional breads and pastries perfectly complement the menu and carry on the theme of conventional meets modern. Beverage Director Jeramy Campbell expands on the food menus with a comprehensive list of concoctions including Italian-inspired cocktails, wine and beer.

Juliet’s outdoor dining area is beautifully shaded, yet open and brimming with greenery. Inside, intimate groupings and larger gatherings are seated comfortably within the roomy yet cozy dining spaces. Setting the bar high for inventive Italian dining, every experience at Juliet is distinct and memorable.
Design:
From the font for eye catching sign that rests on the side of the sleek white building to the intricate lighting that brightens the outside patio area, serious consideration was put into every component involved in bringing Juliet to fruition. With assistance from Christian Helms’ branding, Austin-based designer, Joel Mozersky was able to introduce mid-Century Italy to central Austin through his use of gothic, yet romantic aspects.

Architect Paul Clayton expanded the entrance and bar by replacing the second-story apartments with new windows, giving the section abundant, natural lighting during the early hours. Brass-adorned maple shadows the marble countertop bar, accompanied by rich, white upholstered leather seating. The dark ambiance carries over to the dining area with dimmer lighting illuminating the mirrored central room, furnished with cozy booths and wood finished tables.

The extensive patio offers guests the option to dine outside. Designed by Mark Word, the atmosphere is a balanced combination of Texas and Italy with white wicker bar stools lining the navy blue and white bar while a mixture of white and navy blue furniture rests underneath a structured canopy, surrounded by abundant greenery.

Standout Venue Features:
With their lovely patio and outdoor bar, grand main room and smaller, more intimate dining rooms, Juliet happily welcomes private parties of any size for all occasions. The appealing and alluring setting of each room can make any gathering a memorable one.
