Venue Features
The Scene:
Myron Hunt, a distinguished south land architect whose projects included the Pasadena Rose Bowl and the Huntington Library, was commissioned to design W.K. Kellogg’s new west coast estate. Charles Gibbs Adams, a colorful character whose work was popular among many silent screen stars, was selected to landscape the grounds. One of his more notable commissions was the Hearst Castle garden in San Simeon California. Kellogg purchased his first 377 acres of land from rancher Cecil George in 1925, for $250,000. The main house was built at a cost of $150,000.
Design:
The Kellogg House has reached it's 90th year (2016)! We have proudly preserved the original fountain in the front Spanish courtyard. Along with the original 4 unique fireplaces and 4 unique wooden ceilings.
Standout Venue Features:
The original cobble-stone pathways which lead down to the Vijoris reserve provide the perfect blend of forest scenery and garden look for every photo.
Extra Perks:
We have a hotel here on our campus which is conveniently located 5 minutes away from your venue. A complimentary honeymoon suite is included on the night of your wedding! We also offer low rates at out hotel, can set-up room blocks for your guests, and can also arrange a shuttle to transport your hotel guests to and from the venue.
Awards & Notables We were featured on the TLC show: "Something Borrowed Something New," when host Kelly Nishimoto married here in September 2015.

The Kellogg House is located on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona. We are one of the few schools which offer a hospitality and restaurant management concentration for students. And therefore we are extremely well known for our food/catering! Of course a complimentary tasting is included so you can sample our delicious food, which our reviews rave about.

A full service bar is included with our wedding package.
