The property is a historic 1920s mission-style architectural icon in Little Havana and a key part of the designated Riverview Historic District. Design: Life House Little Havana celebrates the Cuban Culture & it's people. Artists from both Havana, Cuba & Little Havana, Miami grace the walls, bringing the depth of locally-rooted perspective, while textiles and custom artwork feature Afrocubanismo roots. The in-house Design and Food & Beverage teams traveled to Havana, Cuba for inspiration. From this place of understanding, the space was crafted with intentional roots blended with modernism─the overdyed magenta-colored wood of local urban market menu boards, the black & white check flooring of Havana's mansions, the edible foliage of an urban garden, the artistry of a young pioneering local artist who shot photographs of Old Havana's first chic speakeasy─a cultural renaissance among the pioneering creative community, [now featured in the rooms], the color palette of a locally sourced Guava fruit, and the dark wood detailing of a Cuban Cigar Factory for custom furniture. Each guest room features Le Labo's Hinoki line of toiletries and luxury linens from Revival NY for a true home away from home. Awards & Notables 2019 Miami Hospitality Design Awards
