Caballerizas:
The horse stables at Luna Escondida are some of the most gorgeous horse accommodations you’ll ever encounter. Absolutely adaptable to host cultural workshops, weddings, private soirées and more, this setting is surrounded by beautiful gardens which give it a very intimate ambiance.
- View: It has view to the gardens, a waterfall, and to our horses.

Hummingbird gardens:
Located near the ranch’s extensive organic gardens, this open, airy space is perfect for welcome cocktails, an intimate rehearsal dinner, or a post-wedding brunch. It is equipped with a full-service kitchen, restrooms, botanical greenhouses, and a glass ceiling to appreciate the vivid scenery around you. Stunning Monet-style gardens and flowering vine tunnels make it an idyllic, fairy-tale-like venue for special occasions.

Luna Salon:
The 8,000 square foot space with high ceilings and quarry stone entrance is equipped with a full service kitchen area, beautifully appointed restrooms, and a lounge area. The open European-style windows offer views of the ranch as guests dine and dance the night away surrounded by close friends and family.

We are proud supporters of micro weddings, the affectionate term for hosting an intimate wedding instead of an elopement or a large wedding. Some will state that a micro wedding means you are inviting less than 50 guests and some define it as inviting less than 30 guests. Regardless of the guest count, micro weddings offer a lot of benefits to couples who vow to be different. Brides and grooms alike are opting for these sweet small scale celebrations for many reasons including; cost savings, the ability to plan destination events easier and the gift of being able spending more time with their guests.

Sweet newlyweds Isabella and Joaquin were perfectly matched in paradise, and planned a lovely micro wedding to celebrate their love at Luna Escondida in San Miguel de Allende, México. With winding cobblestone roads that lead to gorgeous grounds, lush gardens and a beautiful surroundings, this idyllic ranch venue is in the very heart of Mexico. With multiple event spaces including gardens, a salon and even horse stables, their guests were able to wander the grounds and explore the nearby town.

Colorful historic architecture, narrow cobblestone streets and walls of meandering bougainvillea give San Miguel de Allende its relaxed allure, while the welcoming hospitality and stunning venues keep visitors coming back to the area time and again. Located just fifteen minutes' drive from the city, Luna Escondida is a sprawling private ranch that stands out as a local highlight, complete with extensive gardens and groves, spacious villas and plenty of gathering spaces.

Event planning and design expert Jesse Tombs recently worked with the Luna Escondida team to create a four-day familiarization trip for a select group of industry folks to visit the property. Over the course of the retreat, guests enjoyed everything from horseback riding and yoga to exploring the town and attending beautiful, relaxed dinners throughout the property. Here, Jesse gives us the full scoop on this gorgeous venue and shares some of his favorite highlights of San Miguel.
