- The Scene:
- Guests enter the venue through a secret door on Broadway marked with a plaque. Inside, a doorman will show them up a vintage staircase lit with white lights and decorated with flowers and vintage furnishings. It feels like entering into a Prohibition Era Speakeasy. Once upstairs, guests are greeting with a coat area, floral decor, and enter into the venue through a large wood barn door where they will find the bar to their left.
- Design:
Our multi-purpose, one-of-a-kind space boasts 15 ft ceilings, exposed beams and brick, and 50' of original French window casings that overlook Pike Street. Many of the space's original 1920 features are still in use including a car sized sliding barn door, bootleg-era casings and casters and a ceiling adorned with hardware for pulling out car engines. Other details include a custom chandelier, Edison globe lights, salvaged hand-made furniture, a rope swing, and a wall mounted succulent garden. A large skylight and the north facing windows provide spectacular soft, natural light well into the evening, making for flattering and dramatic event photography.
