There’s something about Rook that feels essentially Tuscan. The furniture is a combination of modern pieces and antiques, among which painted wood makes several appearances, but there’s no clash. Instead, the distinct styles complement each other. The location, a few minutes from the Duomo, certainly helps place the flat in its setting. The actual street it’s on is nothing special, but all around are some of the most beautiful alleyways in the city (and therefore in Italy, and therefore in the world).
