Sassafras Springs Vineyard and Winery is located on 15 rolling acres. We have our winery and winery decks to enjoy wine tasting and dinners. Our Chapel Ruins is a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony or a dinner party. The Stables at Sassafras Springs Vineyard is beautifully decorated with wine globes created by a wine craftsman from Paso Robles California and is a magical place to celebrate your receptions or galas.

Stephen Dollar is our wine maker and he makes the best wine! Ask for a winery tour and see where he makes the wine. We also have fashion shows on some Thursday nights in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Our event managers are so friendly and do a wonderful job in helping you plan the perfect day! Whether it is a small party or a huge Gala give us a call!

Venue Features

The Scene:: Our property is set on 15 acres of rolling hills. We have a stream that runs through the property and two bridges that you can stroll over from the Chapel Ruins to the Reception room at the Stables. We are an active winery and vineyard which sets us apart from other venues. Call us to schedule a tour.
Design:: The Chapel Ruins is an open air Chapel that is set romantically across the bridge from the Stables. The Peacock Room is vibrantly decorated and situated above the venue. The bride can get ready and watch her guests arrive from above the wine manufacturing building in the Peacock Room. The Stables is beautifully decorated with wine barrel globes. You do not need much decor to enhance this already magnificent room.
Standout Venue Features:: Our venue includes all the tables and chairs that you would need at no additional pricing for a party or wedding of up to 200 guests.
Extra Perks:: Our venue includes all the tables and chairs for an event of up to 200 guests for the chapel seating and the reception seating. We offer the top of the line Chivary wedding chairs.

Food, Restaurants, Cafes:: The winery is open Tuesday - Sunday for wine tasting and our venue has available all the beverages needed for your event. We have wine tasting. We carry local artisan beers, We can make wonderful mimosa's or sangria's. We do wine flights and you can pair the flight with cheese or any food of your choice. Our tasting room is loaded with Farmer's market food items from local farmers. Create a beautiful meat and cheese board and we will cut it up for you.
Bars & Lounges:: Our winery is open daily to the public. The Chapel and Stables is by reservation. We can set up a hosted bar or a cash bar at any location you desire on the property. The Stables Reception room will be set up for a cash bar or hosted bar upon request. All beverages come through SSV winery.
