SUR is a spectacular spot for celebrations big & small. We offer various options, including buyout packages, throughout our event spaces, which include the beachfront, terrace, open-air restaurant, and upstairs palapa. Every bit of each space includes sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez, providing the perfect backdrop for your big day.

SUR being part of the Bahia Hotel means you can also arrange accommodation for your guests just a stone’s throw from SUR.

Standout Venue Features:
All guests have access to our private beach area on beautiful Medano Beach where we have beach chairs and beds. No need to get up, our servers will bring you your cocktails and food while you keep your feet in the sand.

Staying at Bahia Hotel or want to go to Bar Esquina, our private golf carts are readily available to shuttle you to and from.

Bar Esquina is Cabo’s favorite corner bar. Since 2012, we’ve been the area’s go-to for a grown-up good time: exceptional food, killer cocktails, an extensive wine list — and a vibrant atmosphere that attracts locals and visitors from across Baja Sur. Sit at our social 17-seat marble bar and make new friends, or gather around a table on our terrace. Enjoy nightly entertainment by live musicians, or request the chef’s table to catch the show in Chef Andres Bracamontes’ open kitchen.

SUR Beach House as a restaurant, SUR is no single thing. Not wanting to be tied down, Chef Andres built his menu around themes, rather than cuisines: Freshness. Quality. Lightness. Food that’s original but approachable, that fuels you but doesn’t overfill you; that you’re happy to eat at the beach, in your bathing suit. Food inspired by the bounty of Baja and the spectacular sea SUR sits on.

Influenced by international flavors, but grounded in the traditions and tastes of Mexico, and with an emphasis on the Baja’s best seafood, SUR’s menu featuresfood that’s appealingly unfussy, allowing our high-quality, hand-picked and homemade ingredients to shine.  

Beverage Director and Sommelier Nizuniro - or you can call him Nizu - has built a beverage program that perfectly complements Chef Andres’ dishes. With seasonal handcrafted cocktails and hand-picked craft beer and wine options from across Mexico and around the world, every plate has a perfect pairing.

Rumor has it that the best place to enjoy a drink in the afternoon is on the left front side of the terrace, just before the beach area. People rave about the Pura Vida with its vibrant notes of Roselle, agave and guava, not to mention the smokey sage undertone.
