The property has a barn that can comfortably seat 150 for a ceremony.  The barn, grounds, and gazebo can easily accomodate 350+ for a reception.
The house on the property, which is included in your rental, has 2 bedrooms with king size beds and 2 bedrooms with full size beds.  The house also has a Bridal/Bridesmaid dressing room on the upper level and a Grooms/Groomsmen dressing room on the lower level. The house on the property makes for a very easy walk to your wedding.

Venue Features
The Scene:
The Barn at Allen Acres sits on approximately 4 acres just outside of the city of Rock Falls IL.  It is surrounded by a corn/bean field of 70+ acres.
The property has been in the Allen Family for over 80 years and 3 generations.  
The Barn was restored in 2011.  The resoration photos are on The Barn at Allen Acres website.
Design:
The Barn is a Dairy Barn that my grandfather used for his dairy business A&S dairy in the 1930's.  Most of the orginal barn is intact.  It was given a new roof in 2011 and boasts a 26ft vaulted ceiling.  
The Gazebo on the property is all repurposed wood from a barn that sat on the property and had to be taken down.  The concrete underneath the Gazebo is from an old grain bin/silo.  
The house is a brick house that my grandfather bought in 1933.  It was built in the 1920's.  I grew up on the farm, as did my father.  The house had it's electrical replaced and a few other updates but I tried to keep as much of the original features as posible in the house, but adding a comfort items (wifi, dish, an updated bathroom) 
Standout Venue Features:
The rental is for the use of entire property, house, grounds, gazebo and barn for the weekend Friday 12pm through Sunday 12pm. We are close by if you need assistance with anything but if you don't need us, you won't see us.  We want you to relax and enjoy your time at the farm.
Extra Perks:
You are welcome to use any decor items that I have, barrels, old doors, windows, wood signs, buffet, armoir, 2 farmhouse tables (one rectangular, one square), burlap, metal buckets, mismatche wooden chairs (100), carriage from the late 1800's.  The lights in the barn, gazebo and back patio of the barn are always there.
