Venue Features
The Scene:
Situated at the crossroads of culture and commerce, The Benjamin's Midtown East location makes for easy access to New York City’s top attractions--including Fifth Avenue restaurants and shops, Grand Central Terminal, MoMA, Saks Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Bloomingdale's, among others. It offers close proximity to several Fortune 500 company headquarters, making it a convenient place to hold meetings and corporate events.
Design:
Established in 1927 as the Beverly Hotel, this Neo-Romanesque edifice is considered to be one of the most recognized works by famed architect Emery Roth. The edifice so inspired artist Georgia O’Keeffe, she painted it as the subject of her piece “New York—Night.”

The Benjamin was fully redesigned in 2012 by Lauren Rottet of the international architecture and design firm Rottet Studio and restyled in partnership with Benjamin Sleep Expert Dr. Rebbeca Robbins to create a personalized, soothing and residential glamorous feel. Originally designed as an apartment hotel with wind-swept terraces to entertain, The Benjamin now boasts a distinctly residential feel with up-to-the-minute artistic elements throughout, inspiring guests to consider it more personal pied-à-terre than hotel.

Now a New York City Landmark, the boutique hotel promises to assist guests to make the best of their stay with thoughtful services and amenities including the Les Clefs d'Or Concierge and The Benjamin's comprehensive sleep program.
Standout Venue Features:
The National Bar and Dining Rooms, created in partnership with widely-acclaimed Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, brings true all-occasion dining, including in-room dining and catering, at The Benjamin.
