Venue Setting

The Black Pig is able to offer two private dining rooms available for both lunch and dinner events in our historic, Civil War-era house.

Upstairs Private Dining Room:
Perfect for cocktail parties, rehearsal dinner, and intimate special occasions.

Parties exceeding the capacity numbers listed above can be accommodated in the form of a restaurant buyout with the appropriate advance notice. Parties exceeding 75 guests total will be split among our two private dining rooms, as well as our main dining room (3 total), between two floors.

We are able to offer a variety of menu options and dish preparations to suit the needs of any guest, including vegan and/or gluten-free options, as well as taking the proper precautions against any allergens. Our menu selections are very flexible and always seasonal— if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We'd love to have you!

Additional Charges

There is a $500 deposit to hold the date/space, which is deducted from the subtotal of your final bill (this cannot be deducted from tax or gratuity). This can be submitted by mail or in person by check, or in person or over the phone via credit card. At the end of your event, you will be presented with one check than can be split up to 5 ways. Please note that the deduction of the deposit will be split evenly among payment methods, and we advise that parties make the necessary arrangements to recoup the deposit from other members of the party if necessary. This deposit is subject to a 14-day cancellation policy, in which case the deposit is forfeit in the event of a cancellation without proper advance notice (all cancellations must be made prior to the two weeks immediately before the event). Unless otherwise quoted, your $500 deposit also acts as a $500 minimum spend. In the event your minimum spend is not met, the difference will be added to your bill as a rental fee. We also require a signed copy of our private dining contract, which outlines our basic policies for all private dining events, and ask that you provide us with your final headcount no later than 72 hours prior to your event. Please account for charges of 8% tax and 20% gratuity in addition to any estimates or quoted prices. 

Please note that payment is due on the day of your event, upon presentation of the bill in the form of cash or credit card. We are happy to provide an itemized receipt for reimbursement, but we ask that you make the necessary payment arrangements with your organization in advance, as we are unable to invoice your organization for payment.

Design:
The Black Pig is housed in a historical, Civil War-era house that has been a staple in the Ohio City neighborhood for decades. Previously incarnated as the Ohio City Tavern, Parker's, and Light Bistro, we have retained the rustic feel of the located with exposed brick and hard wood floors, as well as a large, vintage bar.
Awards & Notables We were recently named the "2016's Best Brunch in Cleveland" by Scene Magazine, and have been featured on both Eater and Thrillist for our seasonal food and drink offerings.
