  • The Brick Barn gives your wedding a real "Iowa" experience. Our quiet country setting is perfect for your guests and family to enjoy your wedding day.
    The Keller Brick Barn is a real Iowa barn, it has been re-purposed from a 1930s working dairy barn and has been transformed into a wedding and event space with an elegant modern farm design.
    Upstairs, chandeliers illuminate the hay loft.
    The staircase was cut from Iowa trees; the stairs were created right from the trunk, leaving exposed bark on the underside of the stairs intact. An exposed tree trunk stands at the corner of the staircase and runs floor to ceiling.
    Outside, a beautifully landscaped garden offers a perfect outdoor space and pergola for smaller weddings or events. Natural stone seating and climbing flowers provide a private garden party atmosphere.

Venue Features
The Scene:
The Keller family had the barn built in 1930 after the previous barn was destroyed in a fire the year before. The barn was originally divided into milking stalls for cows, stalls for the work horse teams, a hay loft and a silo for feed storage. In 1950, the stalls were modernized into a new milking parlor to accommodate more cows and milking machines. James remembers going to the barn to milk cows before the school bus came each morning.

The Brick Barn is an authentic barn. It is simple and elegant, with a modern farm design. 
Standout Venue Features:

The J.D. Keller family has called this farm home for 100 years. In 2000, James Keller started renovating the barn as a way to preserve the beautiful building. He worked to gut the interior, carrying out the old equipment, insulation and even the cement floor bucket by bucket! Midway through his work they realized the potential for a unique wedding space.
