- The Maples Estate is a 12 acre property which includes a stately historic colonial home built in 1855, a large pond, Schoharie Creek frontage, multi-tiered barn complex, grand verandas and in-ground swimming pool. The home once housed a three season B&B and was the former home of Schoharie's best known local author Don Cameron Shaffer who wrote Smokefires in Schoharie.

- The 1855 colonial farmhouse onsite was renovated to reveal the original historic features with a modern farmhouse aesthetic. The grand veranda offers a taste of southern charm with blue ceilings against bright white colonial columns. The house is quite large with 4,500 square foot of space offering plenty of areas to entertain and room for up to 17 guests to sleep comfortably.
