The Paramour Estate is secreted behind immense walls in the celebrated Silver Lake district of Hollywood.
Our property, sited on the highest promontory overlooking all of Los Angeles, invites our guests with a fragrant rose garden overlooking breathtaking views of the Hollywood Hills and San Gabriel Mountains. The century-old 18,000 square foot mansion has been imagined with six lavish guest suites, a grand ballroom with a vaulting hand-painted Italianate ceiling, an opulent salon, a private dining room with floor to ceiling french doors, and a mosaic Malibu tile pool framed with antique marble. Our estate lives on four an a half acres of gardens, terraces, orchards and forests all with soaring views over the City of Los Angeles.

The estate crowns the highest promontory in the Los Angeles basin and boasts sweeping views of the grand towers of downtown, the San Gabriel Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Originally commissioned in 1918 by oil heiress Daisy Canfield and her dashing husband, silent screen star Antonio Moreno, the Beaux-Arts inspired Mediterranean mansion and guest quarters were completed in 1923. Many of the great luminaries of the Golden Age of Hollywood attended lavish film industry parties at the Estate which was situated midway between Disney Studios, Max Sennett Stages and Paramount Pictures.

The estate holds all the original historic details indicative of mansions of the era built by the founding families of early Los Angeles. Hand-forged iron balconies, carved rare stone fire mantles, marble mosaic tile, antique crystal chandeliers, and deeply carved wood doors inspired by a grand tour of Europe more than a century ago. The owner, Dana Hollister, a world-class designer in her own right, has adorned the mansion with her private collection with gilded baroque mirrors, rare cloisonne urns, exotic paintings and vivid Art Deco Chinese carpets. Submerging into this bohemian and exotic environment is a seductive act of both time travel and imagination. Extra Perks: A suite is made available for clients to prepare/ dress for their special occasion. Use of the catering kitchen which is outfitted with a 6 burner Wolf range, 2 ovens, a convection oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwashing station, 2 prep sinks, and a staff bathroom. A valet parking lot of up to 50 cars, located on the property, is available.
