Trancoso House - Boutique Pousada is originally a small fisherman's house acquired and restored by a couple of designers from Spain and Brazil, transforming it into a small, cozy and charming boutique hotel, which transmits the essence of southern Bahia. The place is very quiet and pleasant, surrounded by nature, despite being located 300 meters from the historic center and 900 m. of the beaches.

Venue Setting

Small and cozy fisherman's house transformed into a charming boutique hotel with all the charm of southern Bahia architecture in Brazil. The establishment has 3 rooms that can be reserved independently, or if you prefer the whole house, both for groups and for a single person or couple. We can also organize small-sized events for small groups. Located on the coast of the Brazilian discovery, south of Bahia, in a small and remote city founded by the Jesuits in 1586 and discovered by the hippies in the 70s. The historic center is a set of houses around a square of grass, with a church in the background, with its back to the sea. It still retains its original aesthetic and is surrounded by nature. It is currently one of the most exclusive and select places in Brazil to spend the end of the year, the most important party in the country.

Accommodations: 3 bedrooms with independent bathroom, air conditioning, HD TV with SKY (satellite), bed with mosquito net. One of the bedrooms, the Bahia Suite, has a terrace overlooking the garden. In the common area there is a terrace with a small pool with hydromassage, a hammock, a living room, and an honesty bar with a small wine cellar, refrigerator with drinks, Nespresso machine and a microwave. We serve breakfast every day with coffee, milk, tropical fruits, freshly made juices, homemade bread, tapioca, bread, butter, scrambled eggs, cooked ham and cheese ... and there is always some surprise. We attend requests and suggestions regarding breakfast.

The place is very quiet and pleasant, surrounded by nature, despite being located 300 meters from the historic center and 900 m. of the beaches.
Design:: We wanted to maintain the essence of the architectural and decorative style of southern Bahia. The predominant use of wood in carpentry and furniture, and floors covered with cement. We value old and rustic elements. Pieces of sculpted wood, copper, ceramics and vegetable fibers. The light and heat of Bahia do the rest.
