Villa Punto de Vista is a full-service, unique 10-bedroom estate perfect for private luxury groups as well as events such as destination weddings, retreats, seminars and gourmet get-a-ways!

We are "A Villa Redefined" in that a stay with us combines all of best services and amenities you might find in a world-class hotel with the privacy and exclusivity of your own luxury villa.

The estate offers a 270-degree panorama of the popular Manuel Antonio bay and a beautiful rain forest teaming with monkeys, sloths and tropical birds.

The complex is comprised of both the main villa, a mansion of steel, glass and natural rock as well as a rustically-designed entry cottage on our 2.5 acre rain-forest estate. We feature 10 boutique-style bedrooms all with their own uniquely tiled entrances in Italian Bisazza tile as well as their own private baths with organic bath products and rain showers.

Villa Features

The main villa features two distinct “zones” for either separate events or one combined event featuring two distinctive areas all within one villa.

The Below Canopy Zone occupies the ground floor and mezzanine levels of the main villa and consist of the following social areas:

• RECEPTION LOUNGE / ELEVATOR LOUNGE A

Double-height lounge area featuring well-displayed art pieces, an always-manned reception desk and men’s and women’s restrooms. The elevator lobby on floor.

•LIVING ROOM/ EVENT'S SPACE & BAR:

Large, operable sliding glass corners bring the ocean and jungle into this impressive double-height space. Perfect for receptions or parties, the space features a full bar with plasma TV as well as immediate proximity to the pool and jungle terrace spaces. Wired for professional club sound, a DJ platform is in the mezzanine overhead.

VILLA LOWER FLOORS: Pool Area And Underwater Lounge

Footsteps from the Living Room / Event’s Space and with access to the first level bar, the pool area boasts both ocean views as well as an intimate connection with the jungle. A built-in underwater seating area as well as an infinity edge makes the coral stone-finished pool area truly unique.

ENTRY WATER FEATURE & KIDS SPLASH POOL

If first impressions are everything, the villa does not disappoint. On entry, visitors are first treated to a one-of-a-kind, dual-sided, mosaic mural standing 45 feet tall and forming the tip of the “ship-shaped” villa. This mural is the backdrop for the Entry Event’s Courtyard and water-feature / Kid’s pool. Underwater jets give ship-like motion to the building and underwater lighting illuminates the mural and gives nautical character to the villa.

****The villa is only minutes walk to the beach, and located only 2.5 hours drive / 20 minute flight or Helicopter from the San José Airport.

VILLA UPPER FLOORS: DINING & TERRACE EVENTS

Perched high on the fourth level, the spacious Dining and Events Terrace can seat 50+ for dinner and shelter over a hundred for receptions in all weather. With perhaps the best view in the villa, the terrace features teak wood wrapped columns and beams as well as a pitched tropical woven ceiling with warm illumination.

TERRACE BAR

Serving the Dining and Events Terrace is the Terrace Bar. The Bar features a mirrored backdrop for reflecting the magnificent view as well as a Plasma TV.

ROOF TOP DECK / BAR / INFINITY EDGE JACUZZI

The entire top floor of the villa is a rooftop deck with commanding views of picturesque Manuel Antonio Bay and the above jungle canopy. This large, pointed space resembling the deck of a ship, features a complete bar as well as an infinity edge Jacuzzi cantilevered high over the entry water feature some 60 feet below! The roof-deck is perfect for weddings, parties and yoga.

Villa Punto de Vista is a premiere Costa Rica villa situated beside  the sea in supernatural Manuel Antonio. The villa features 10 luxuriously-appointed, en-suite guest rooms accommodating up to 30 persons.

Each architecturally distinctive guest suite features locally sourced pink sandstone rock walls, teakwood accents and floor-to-ceiling glass for an indoor-outdoor connection to the rainforest and the gorgeous Manuel Antonio Bay. The well-appointed rooms also offer private balconies with ocean and rainforest views, air conditioning, ceiling fans, an integrated sound system and Wi-Fi.

Every suite has its own private bath with sumptuous rain showers, luxurious and organic spa amenities and ultra-soft linens upon Swiss-made beds. Each room can be arranged to accommodate either couples or individuals with king-sized or single-bed configurations.

What your pre-arrival concierge is to your vacation preparations, Luis is to your stay at Villa Punto de Vista. Luis is the villa’s estate manager, onsite butler, and bartender. In other words, he’ll attend to your every need, and will work diligently to keep you comfortable and genuinely involved throughout your stay.

He will be glad to make personal recommendations while on your stay, help book additional tours, dining reservations, order groceries and take-out among other arrangements.

Luis can work with a local chef as well as villa staff to prepare a lovely beach BBQ or picnic for a Costa Rican on-the-beach experience like no other!

The ten-bedroom estate and venue, located on a private 2 ½ acre reserve, is unlike any other luxury Costa Rica rental.  Nestled into the tropical forest (With daily visitors of Monkeys, Sloths, Parrots, Scalett McCaws) and hovering just above the jungle canopy, the villa captures the essence of your own home by the sea with the event-sized social spaces, infrastructure and impeccable service of a small luxury boutique hotel.

The first-floor living room, or ballroom, features a spectacular inlaid teak floor, double-height ceilings with our signature “Big Ass Fans” (yes, that’s really what they’re called!), a full bar, and floor-to-ceiling glass walls that blur the line between the jungle canopy and interior spaces. A well-placed iPad mini in the wall offers an endless Internet radio selection – and even karaoke for the Apple TV over the bar!

Infinity Pool / Pool Terrace:
Just off of the living room, our secluded double edged infinity pool is ideal for a refreshing dip – or a lazy afternoon spent watching monkeys in the trees. The terrace is the perfect place to relax or to sunbathe and unwind in our new addition, the covered pool lounge. This social space features smooth stone benches and an under-lit, built-in drink cooler, all located off of the living room/ballroom and adjacent to our private rain forest reserve.

Rooftop Deck:
The stunning rooftop deck view is our cherry on top – literally! Our sixth and highest floor is devoted to leisure – A spacious lounge area, comfy hammocks, and an infinity edge Jacuzzi, anyone? A full bar completes the offering of the rooftop deck, as does the iPad Mini controls, which are seamlessly integrated into the wall for all the internet radio you can enjoy.
