Once a pickle factory, our design team chose to embrace our building's substantial foundation with reclaimed wood, bare concrete, and exposed brick. By bringing in subtle natural highlights of moss detailed walls as well as a dramatic living garden wall, our space accentuates the juxtapositions of nature versus industrial.
Located in the heart of West Loop's trendy Restaurant Row, our 10,000 square foot converted factory features a 22 foot lofted ceiling framing our main dining room floor. Custom Chinese Elmwood finishes, a living garden wall, and a floating mural of galloping horses produce the perfect backdrop for your bridal photography. You and your guests can swoon over the imaginative Asian flavors from Chef Bill Kim's dishes, belt out your favorite tune in our karaoke lounge, and relax around the fire pit in our private garden. bellyQ is a space built to amplify love.

All private events are provided with a Food and Beverage Minimum and include 11.5% Sales Tax, 20% Service Fee, optional AV Fee, optional Valet Services, and for larger groups a Bartender Fee may apply. Should an event extend past our normal operating hours, additional fees may incur.

Our Chef’s Quarters is bellyQ’s intimate private dining room with green moss lined walls and industrial style communal tables. Private karaoke included in the room complete with music videos is a perfect addition to any event, and also provides dedicated A/V capabilities.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, award-winning Chef Bill Kim brings many influences to his food, beginning with helping his mother in the kitchen at home. He trained in classic French cuisine at Chicago's Kendall College and worked in top restaurants up and down the East Coast. Returning to Chicago, he served as chef de cuisine at world-renowned Charlie Trotter's, then as executive chef at Le Lan, where he melded French and Asian cooking styles in inventive ways.
In 2008, Chef Kim ventured out on his own, brining imagintive Asian-Inspired cuisine to urbanbelly, bellyQ and Belly Shack. Bars & Lounges:
