What comes first: the venue or the dress? The Venue Report is hosting a traveling wedding gown pop-up series with BHLDN to help you decide. BHLDN is bringing their latest gown collection to some of our favorite boutique hotels across the country! This pop-up series will be traveling to Detroit, Minneapolis, Austin and Cincinnati to help you find your dream gown and venue. Spots are limited (only 60 appointments in each city to be exact so giddy up). Scroll down to learn more and book your appointment!
August 24th - August 26th
Try on the latest BHLDN gowns at the new Detroit Foundation Hotel with your favorite people. This recently rebuilt urban beauty is a blend of iconic design and modern luxury (that sounds like a winning dress combo too!) TVR Tip: Stop by The Apparatus Room for a cocktail (or two) on your way back from saying yes to the dress.
September 7th - September 9th
Set on the banks of the St. Croix river in a historic building, Hotel Lora channels all the antique feels of a bygone era, making it the perfect spot to find your dream BHLDN gown. Bring your besties and come early for espresso from Made, their in house coffee shop, before the try on. TVR Tip: Make sure to linger a while and try a classic libation from their cocktail bar, The Long Goodbye.
September 14th - September 16th
Once home to a bustling jazz club, The Line Hotel is a storied part of downtown Austin history and is a dream location to try on your dream BHLDN wedding gown. Wander around Austin with your gal pals in tow before trying on gowns at The Line Hotel. TVR Tip: After your appointment, stop by Arlo Gray, the hotel's very own lakeside restaurant for a farm-to-table experience and sweeping views of Town Lake.
September 21st - September 23rd
Wedding dress shopping in a museum-meets-boutique-hotel? We're in! 21c Museum Hotel is a multi-venue contemporary art museum and 156-room boutique hotel complete with the best in dining and drinking. After a day of art and dresses, the hotel's rooftop bar, the Cocktail Terrace, will be calling. TVR Tip: We suggest answering the call with a "Kiki Cocktail," complete with cava, hibiscus and lemon.
