We are looking for a rockstar account manager to join our fast-growing and fast-paced team! We wear a lot of hats, a LOT. Can you multi-task? Do you have stellar organizational skills? Onboarding Specialist (Part Time Role)

We are looking for a part time Onboarding Specialist AKA an organizational wizard! This role will be responsible for curating photos and room/property descriptions for all hotels, resorts and venue listings on The Venue Report Directory. Yes, you will be looking at a TON of photos in this position. Do you have a good eye, good writing skills and you are super duper organized? Are you friendly and patient? This position will also need you to assist with customer service to help the hotels if they need assistance with their submission forms. P.S. This role could eventually lead to a full time position!

Freelance Photo Editor


the role

The Venue Report is looking to add to our family with a part time photo editor and curator. This position will be primarily responsible for curating photos and designing blog layouts that will be featured on The Venue Report's website.

This person needs to have a savvy design eye where they are familiar with a wide variety of current trends and editorial processes. This includes but is not limited to current trends in photography styles, design and styling, and popular media culture (trying to say "pinterest-y"). This position will primarily be responsible for blog layouts that tell a cohesive and visually appealing story with imagery.

While this position is highly trend focused (and fun!), the photo editor must also be open and adaptable to a wide variety of styles and needs.

Minimum two full time days per week (this could lead to a full time position)

requirements

  • Proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator is required
  • Must have some experience with Blog, Magazine or Editorial layouts.
  • Photography, Graphic Design, Blogging, and Photoshop knowledge are preferred as well as a demonstration of highly specialized photo layout & design skills.
  • Must know how to self manage time and be able to perform under tight deadlines.
