‘Tis the season for gathering around big, communal tables with friends old and new, or soaking up a little time together by the campfire with a full bodied glass of red. As soon as that first hint of fall foliage hits, we’re on the hunt for the most decadent pies, terroir driven wines, beautiful farmhouse restaurants and places to soak up the season’s best food and wine. Here, we’re sharing all the places you might find us this season, from trying our hand at bocce in a wine garden of Los Alamos to picking apples at an orchard outside Portland to seeking a culinary getaway at Tennessee’s famed luxury farm escape. We’re all over the map this fall, chasing winemakers, picking pumpkins and forever on the hunt for the best and spiciest-sweet apple pie.
