Considering a revamp of your dining room? How about a style that’s equal parts industrial and vintage Americana for inspiration? Today, we’re channeling just that kind of vibe, courtesy of Campfire Restaurant in Carlsbad. The classic cocktail and wood-fired dining concept welcomes strangers to become friends in a space that feels almost like summer camp mess halls of your youth, if only they’d served the best food and drinks around.
In the last of our collaboration series with Chairish, we’ve shopped for all the furniture and lighting you’ll need to create a similar look in your own home. So, hop on down below as we guide you through the styling.
If you’re after a dining chair that’s slight of frame and light in wood color, much like the chairs at Campfire, these Cesca armchairs should do the trick. The iconic style has been in production since 1928, most recently by Knoll. This particular set is vintage, from the 1970s.
1920s Industrial Crank Base Dining & Conference Table
For a larger dining space, this antique crank base table perfectly recalls the look of the industrial styled tables at Campfire. On this piece, the base has been sandblasted and restored, and the tabletop’s a solid butcher block.
Inspired by the glass fixtures that adorned the tops of telegraph lines back at the turn of the 20th century, this insulator glass pendant perfectly encapsulates old world design in a modern way. The pendant includes a clear glass shade and rod-suspended design, and can be dimmed as desired. If your dining space has room to dangle a couple of these, they’d look great in a set.
Modern and neat looking, this pair of parsons-style counter stools is perfect for capturing that Campfire look at your home bar or kitchen island. Plus, the white leather will go great with the rest of your décor.
This Danish pendant dates back to the 1960s and is in excellent, rewired condition. As far as styling it goes, it’s about 13.5” in diameter, so it’s going to make the biggest impact centered over your dining table.
