In Camden, sit by the flickering fire pit as the stars come out at Whitehall. This gem of a property which has been running since the 1800s got even sparklier when it was renovated in 2015. Unwind inside Whitehall’s rooms which include a mix of modern and vintage furniture and plenty of colorful accents, or post up on the front porch with a glass of wine in hand as you soak up the surrounding nature.

Cider drinkers should head straight to Vergennes, Vermont, for tastings at Shacksbury. Every fall, Shacksbury treks out along narrow country roads and overgrown orchards to find unique apple varieties for their ciders. We just love a good orchard to cocktail drink don’t you? Be sure to try The Vermonter, which is one of Shacksbury’s most popular ciders as its blended from a unique variety of local apples and is only available to try in the Green Mountain State itself.

Where to Eat: Brushland Eating House
Bovina Center, New York

Food favorites in the Upstate New York area include experiencing Brushland Eating House, where dishes such as roasted carrots with almond dressing and honey, hand rolled pasta, and olive oil cake, manage to be the perfect combination of unfussy and upscale. As for ambiance, Brushland was founded on the idea that the house that provides the food should be as comforting as the dishes served inside of it, which means you’re in for a soul-warming neighborly vibe while eating here.
