What Our Team Is Packing for Their Holiday Travels

photo: Adam Szafranski for The Venue Report
Whether going near or far, to warmer or cooler climates, one thing is for sure: we will be overpacking. In our eyes, one can never be too prepared, right? As we gear up for our final travels of 2018, we're packing some our absolute team wide favorites (this Aesop hand balm) along with some new, exciting finds. Some of us are traveling home for the holidays and some of us are traveling to distant locales with our favorites in tow.

From airplane skin saving salves to walk-proof, stylish sneakers, here's what The Venue Report team is overpacking for their last hurrah of 2018.

Travel Blow-Dryer

"Don't feel scrooged while traveling for the holidays. The key to braving the holiday brouhaha is packing light, without sacrificing your beauty and wellness routine. Since you can't fit your entire bathroom vanity into your suitcase, try these travel-friendly sized gems out for size. 'No more hotel blow dryers,' the slogan of the Drybar Travel Blow Dryer, says it all. This travel blow dryer is compact but with all the power of your favorite giant blow dryer that takes up way too much room in your suitcase."

Stan Smith Adidas Sneakers

"Leave it to the old classics to be the most comfortable walking shoes of all time. We recently went to New Orleans and I wore these retro beauties as we walked 15+ miles each day. My feet never hurt and the classic design coordinated with every outfit (I sported them with both maxi dresses and jeans). They even sparked conversation with fellow travelers who remembered them from 'the good 'ol days.' I have traveled across the globe and these are by far the comfiest travel shoes I have found to date. Old school is clearly the best school."
