1888 Hotel
EST. 2013
Oh how we'd love to set at date at the eighteen eight-eight, established in Sydney since its namesake year and aging gracefully with a little recent $30 million dollar nip-and-tuck in all the right places.
Beautifully bespoke and historically hospitable, these rooms couldn't get cozier or more contemporary - why not rent out the whole hotel for a lively let-your-hair down?

Venue Setting
Originally used for wool-storage, the 1888-erected building that houses the hotel has undergone a $30 million development in 2013 to reveal a luxury property that offers an Eatery and Bar, an event space and 90 rooms, including a rooftop penthouse apartment overlooking the city surrounds. The aesthetic of the hotel is distinctly Australian, blending the natural elements of reclaimed Iron Bark, concrete, stone and bronze with exposed brick walls and a five-storey, light-filled internal atrium. High ceilings and huge period windows reflect the heritage history and overall feel of the building.
