Weddings

Whether it’s an errant night out with your best gals or a gorgeous wedding in a sun-dappled vineyard, breaking bread around a table with strangers or friends brings out the best in us all. When planning a wedding, partnering with a perfect venue that thinks about long feasting tables and homemade, better yet, homegrown ingredients, will ensure your “marry-making” is all the more inspiring and memorable. Think beautifully prepared plates alight with the loveliest tastes, tantalizing scents permeating the air, all grown just feet from where you’re sitting to create sensory memories that linger long after the reason for being there.
As such, here's a list of wedding venues that prioritize the farm-to-table feast in some of the most stunning settings in the world.

Sunday Brunch Bucket List: Meet Us At 27 Restaurant, A Mid-Century Miami Historic Brunch Beach House
What if we all measured our weeks by starting, instead of ending, on Sunday? Wandering into our week at a pace in line with our pulse, beholden to no job or timetable. Is there anything more luxurious than rubbing the sleep from your eyes whenever you want? We think not. Then from bed to brunch: hand-crafted heirloom tomato, salty-rimmed bloody mary’s with extra olives, leisurely paced conversation and cute outfits with no dress code. It would make Mondays feel like second-class citizens… which is where they belong with all their self-importance.
So if we’re talking about starting our week off on a wondrous note, our #SundayBrunchBucketList of the week goes to the most beautifully restored beach house, 27 Restaurant + Bar, adjacent to purveyor of ‘posh’tel cool, the Freehand Miami. So round up your mains and head here, located in the courtyard of one of the most fabulously designed hostels in the country and have an “easy like Sunday morning” brunch in this beautiful gathering space that blurs the lines between ‘posh’ hostel and hotel that feels like home.
Gatherings

New Year’s Eve is one of our favorite holidays here at the Venue Report. Why? Because it’s celebrated by nearly every culture around the world. In Iceland, people burn big community bonfires to get rid of the past year’s bad juju. In South Africa, people parade through the streets in costume. In Newfoundland, people share poetry over a gunfire salute. And in Miami, well, in Miami people party like rage machines.
We’ve covered all your New Year’s celebration possibilities, from California glamping to luxury hotel stays in the Maldives, from African safari adventures to late-night parties in Los Angeles. If you can't make it this year, save these for your dream gatherings and getaways for next year! So, here’s to a brilliant 2016, filled with more opportunities to travel, gather and explore!
