We literally started with a big Balagan - a Hebrew word for charming chaos. Found and owner Kat created a personalized delivery service from her own kitchen at home during the infamous Covid-19 crisis in 2020. Following her passion for cooking and a vision of creating a fun and inclusive food culture inspired by the Middle East, Balagan quickly turned into a proper restaurant business and an insider tip for foodies.

And besides all the good food and drinks, you will surely not miss out on the main attraction: our ocean-front rooftop terrace with Ericeira’s most amazing sea view.

Our Deli brings a fresh vibe to the famous beach café culture in Ericeira. Located on the ground floor directly in front of the Atlantic ocean, we will serve you not only speciality coffee from the local roastery Baobá but will spoil you all day long with fresh bakery goods, easy snacks and delicious drinks - to stay or to go. And ever thought about working straight from the beach? The Deli offers you a dedicated co-working table where you can check off your to-do list while enjoying the sea breeze.
