Venue Setting

Barn at Edgewood is our family run event venue that we are so excited to share with you! Whether you are planning your wedding, a social celebration, or even a corporate event we would be honored to be a part of your day. The barn is located on a 170 acre farm 40 minutes from the heart of Charlottesville and about two hours south of DC. Being only 11 miles from the Skyline Drive entrance to Shenandoah National Park we have amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains for you and your guests to enjoy.

You are going to love our barn.  While we say “barn” we'd like for you to imagine a rustic yet elegant lodge.  The main hall boasts gorgeous rough cut posts and beams with handsome sconces that provide romantic lighting.  We also have a stunning rock fireplace in the main hall that is even more glorious with an open fire.  Two 16 by 12 foot entrances, on each end of the barn, let the outdoors in.  These doors are also easy to close if the weather is looking doubtful.

For weddings we offer the surrounding pastures as locations for your ceremony, including a waterfront location right next to the barn.  The veranda is perfect for your guests to enjoy cocktails while you and your new spouse have your portraits taken on the property.

The property, on its own, is breathtaking.  For the newlyweds, your photographer will be able to capture so many amazing shots of you, your family, and friends.  We are honored and excited to begin the process of helping you host your wedding or special event on Edgewood Farm.
