Perched on a sea-view cliff on the Amalfi Coast, Caruso, A Belmond Hotel, Amalfi Coast is set in a renovated building of the 11th century. The property includes an infinity pool, terraced gardens, and historic interiors with frescoed ceilings. The rooms and suites offer views of the garden or the sea. The rooms are located in the main building or in the annex in the garden. All accommodations is complete with an LCD TV with CD player, air conditioning, and free internet. Some rooms and suites offer a private balcony. A generous breakfast is served daily at the Caruso, A Belmond Hotel, Amalfi Coast. The Ristorante Belvedere serves traditional Italian specialties and the Caruso Grill is the ideal spot for a light lunch and a taste of Italian pizza. Design:
A former 11th century palace set on cliffs beside the Amalfi Coast, Caruso seems to drift on a ‘balcony’ above the Mediterranean Sea. It is a triumph of the restorer’s skill. Its ancient walls and fresco-covered ceilings have been carefully preserved to make it a work of art in itself.
